Workshop Series led by Joanna Nobbe, DPT January 26, February 2, 9 and 16 (Sundays) @ 1pm-2:30pm Pain is a part of life and something you will encounter in your training program. However, it does not have to end your training career and it can be a learning experience. Really! You can learn to work with your body's signals to become a smarter mover, more compassionate to yourself and stay on track for your training goals. This 4-week workshop series will offer a practical approach to continue exercising and moving if and when pain happens. You'll learn criteria for when to modify or stop an activity, and when it's OK to move with some discomfort or pain. The goal of this series is to promote confidence, creativity, and longevity in your movement practice and to feel empowered to modify your workouts with minimal to no assistance from a trainer or PT. And, of course, when it's appropriate to consult with an expert, because sometimes we all need a little help.
